Explore, learn and be inspired by nature at Perivale Wood

Perivale Wood is the perfect location for outdoor learning.  If you bring your class or group to the reserve they will have exclusive use of the reserve, which includes 18 acres of ancient oak woodland as well as wildflower meadows and wetland areas.

Perivale Wood is right in the middle of an urban landscape with great public transport links, yet as soon as you step through the gates the buzz of the bees and the tap-tapping of woodpeckers will make you feel like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life.  And if you come in the spring you may even get to experience the spectacle of thousands of native bluebells.

We offer environmental education sessions and Forest School sessions for school groups as well as other groups and organisations.

The opening of our new Bluebell Education Centre, with its stunning views across the buttercup meadow, means that we now have the facilities to accommodate groups of up to 30 children in all weathers.

A visit to Perivale Wood will be a positive outdoor experience for all. Your group will be inspired by the rich biodiversity during an environmental education session and will develop skills such as working as a team, self-confidence and independence during a forest school session.
